Formed in the fall of 2000, the name EYE SCREAM FILMS was to be a production company producing horror films. Ironically enough, ESF has yet to produce a horror film, but has done so much more.

ESF's first official production was the music video PAIN for the Los Angeles-based band FOUR STAR MARY. After shooting until the wee hours of the morning, production wrapped at about 5am on 9/11/2001 - yes THAT 9/11. With the world turned upside down, we had a deadline for MTV in the UK and had to deliver. Amazingly, from the time director SEAN MICHAEL BEYER met with FSM to discuss the concept for the video to the time we delivered the master tape to MTV, was just over three weeks - and with a terrorist attack smack dab in the middle.
Since then ESF has produced a variety of projects, including the short film speed dating spoof RAPID GUY MOVEMENT, working with Emmy-Winning cinematographer Roland "Ozzie" Smith, which screened at many US and Internaltional film festivals, picking up worldwide distribution from Tigris films; The one-minute-thirty-second comedy FIRST KISS, which screened consistently at international film festivals for over three years and aired on the Starz! cable network; and the no-budget slap-schtick comedy HEY BABY, marking ESF's first effort with actor Zack Bennett.
Summer of 2005 brought the production of our first feature film, DOWN THE P.C.H. PCH was written & directed by SEAN MICHAEL BEYER and our first-time collaboration with veteran casting director turned producer VALERIE McCAFFREY. Spring of 2006 was a co-production with DIRTYPELICAN FILMS for the dramatic short THE UTOPIAN.
Next up... the touching RANDY'S CANVAS and not-so-romantic comedy THE ACTUAL WORLD currently in development.
